Frequently asked questions
What’s my wall — concrete or drywall?
Quick test: knock with your fist. Concrete — a dull, dead sound. Drywall — hollow, with a slight bounce. Or send a photo of a corner — I’ll tell you.
Can a heavy shelf go on drywall?
Yes — for drywall the anchor is matched to the required weight. An exact answer comes after a photo of the wall; the framing can vary.
Bathroom tile — can it be drilled?
Yes, with diamond bits, slowly. Tile doesn’t crack when done right. A small surcharge for the care involved.
Can the TV cables be hidden?
In cable trunking (surface, along the wall) — yes, from €20. Hidden inside the wall — only an electrician with wall chasing.
What about a 75″ TV and larger?
I take up to 65″ as my safe limit. Larger — we’ll discuss; a second pair of hands may be needed.
