How it works
Frequently asked questions
Why anchor to the wall? Is it required?
Per the IKEA manual — required for PAX 201 and 236 cm. An unanchored wardrobe can tip over — a serious danger (especially with children around). We always secure it to the wall.
What if the wall is drywall?
The fixing type is chosen on site — by wall type, weight and the wardrobe configuration. If safe anchoring isn’t possible, we will tell you before work begins and suggest an alternative.
My floor is uneven. Is that a problem?
No. PAX has adjustable feet (+€25–40). The wardrobe stands level even with a 1–3 cm difference. Mention it when you request.
Can I start the assembly myself and then call you in?
Better not. A PAX started wrong is harder to fix than to assemble from scratch. If you’ve already started — send a photo and we will assess it.
How long does a 2-section PAX take?
Without pull-out drawers — 3–4 hours. With them — 4–5 hours. A corner configuration — 5–6 hours.
